Emma Corrigan is an employee at Panther Cola. On a plane, Emma blurts out all her secret to her co-passenger out of nervousness. He was supposed to disappear, but he turns up at her office as the CEO, Jack Harper. And he knows all her personal secrets. Emma tries to avoid Jack as much as possible, but can't seem to get rid of him. Her life is going from bad to worse!
Entertaining at times and sometimes cringeworthy. Emma's character was very unpredictable and not in a good way. One moment she is scared and embarrassed, the next she is angry and yelling. Jack's character was okay, but at times I wondered why he is so very unprofessional with Emma. I don't understand his useless excuses. I can't get over with the change in Connor's (Emma's boyfriend) personality. She says that he knows her well, but then he is so very stupid. I think that the unsupportive family cliché was also kind of overdone. The good part was Lissy and Katie. They are so understanding and awesome. though sometimes plain weird. I think Jemima was just a comedy relief character. She wants a 'rock on her finger' but apart from that, you can't say anything about her. Overall this is a fun entertainment book which I think most people will enjoy.
