The famous five consists of siblings Julian, Dick, Anne, and their cousin George with Timmy the dog. The five are alone at Kirrin cottage with Joanna the cook. George's parents have gone to Spain on vacation. On the first day, Anne sees a face at the bedroom window. Julian pretends it's just a tramp, but only to comfort his sister. He is actually worried. This person must be determined if they climbed a wall. Two days later, the children wake up to find Uncle Quentin's study upside down and the safe opened. All the doors and windows were locked. Except the pantry window. But even Anne can't get through it. No one knows if anything was stolen. To make matters worse, someone's doped Timmy. Then, George and Timmy go missing. Is it all connected or just a coincidence? How do they get George and Timmy back?
