The famous five consists of siblings Julian, Dick, Anne, and their cousin George with Timmy the dog. The children have a long weekend, and they plan to go cycling together. They meet Richard, a spoilt brat, with a billionaire father. He badly wants to go cycling with the five, and lies to them, saying that his mother permitted him, and he could spent the night at his aunt's place. When he arrives, he finds her away. He is horrified to come across Rooky, his father's ex-bodyguard, who hates him and wants to pay him back. Richard goes to the five for help, but a series of misunderstandings end in Rooky's friend kidnapping Dick. The children are desperate to save Dick, but they have no clue where he is. Little do they know the trouble they will get into.
