Five Have A Wonderful Time ( 11 ) - Enid Blyton

The famous five consists of siblings Julian, Dick, Anne, and their cousin George with Timmy the dog. George join her cousins near Faynight's Castle, in caravans. The next day, newspapers are full of the disappearance of two famous scientists. Everyone assumes that they are traitors, who are selling their secrets to another country. Then, the children have a surprise! There are circus folk coming to camp on the same grounds. But they hate the five for some reason. When the circus folk move their caravan's to another field, the children's circus friend Jo appears and sorts out thing between everyone. While picnicking, Dick spots a face in the window at Faynight's castle. On investigation, the five learn that there is no way up the tower, as the steps are crumbled. But there is someone up there! And the five are sure its the missing scientist. But how did he get there? And how should they?
