Tales from a Not- So- Popular Party Girl is diary fiction novel owned by Nikki Maxwell. She was a well known artist a she won first place in the Art competition. The Halloween dance is coming soon too. She is called for painting faces at zoo party for six- year old kids and she gets paid so she decided to do it. Brandon asks her to be his date for the dance when he is supposed to take Mackenzie! Mackenzie had been lying the whole time that Brandon was taking her for the dance and she also invites Nikki to her birthday party! Nikki is also supposed to hangout with Zoey and Chloe at the party because she doesn't tell them that she already has a date since she thinks they will feel bad. She has to paint faces, be Brandon's date, and hangout with Zoey and Chloe all at the same time! How will she do all these things? Will she hurt anyone's feelings? Will the party turn out disastrous?
The book was very interesting and it was a page turner. There were a lot of unexpected bits here and there. As usual, it does not lack comedy and drama, but this time it has a bit of romance. I would recommend this book to tweens and teens.
