In the fourth form, Mam'zelle's wild niece with queer ideas joins the school. There is Eileen, who is matron's daughter, Pauline, a plain girl who claims that she is rich, and Angela, a spoil t rich girl. The old girls are determined to make the new girls fit in, but they soon realize that it's easier said than done. They discover Angel's a spiteful side and that Eileen has a secret that is worrying her sick. Things go from bad to worse when Matron reports stealing and all the fourth are suspected because their common room is the only one close enough. If the fourth form wants to remove the suspicion, they must catch the thief quickly.
This book apart from being highly entertaining, also has some valuable lessons. The transformations seen in this book are truly brilliant. It shows how every problem has a reason behind it, and that with some patience and kindness, most problems can be solved. As other Blyton book's it is full of drama and mystery. The diverse characters make it even more interesting. I promise that once you pick this book, you won't put it down until it's all over.
