The Twins at St. Clare's ( 1 ) - Enid Blyton

Pat and Isabel have been spoilt at their school, so their parents send them to St. Clare. They inform everyone that they will not try to fit in at their new school. Soon, the change their minds, liking the mistresses and making friends. The twins discover the fun side to school. Tricks, midnight feasts, sports matches, and rows. But then, things start happening! Sheila is getting unbearable day by day. And someone is stealing money! What is up?

The transformation of the twins was quite inspiring but expected. The characters are admirable and they are well developed. However, the storyline is not that unique and similar to a usual Blyton novel. The various backgrounds taken in this book are quite inspiring. There are poor girls, and rich girls living together. The concept of waiting over the older girls was interesting.  If you are looking for a book with beautiful characters, then you might like this book. I find that the other books in this series have more entertaining storylines.
