My Brother is a Big, Fat Liar ( 3 ) - James Patterson , Lisa Papademetriou

Georgia Khatchadorian is starting at her brother Rafe's old school. Unfortunately, Rafe has a terrible reputation thanks to his misdeeds, and this makes it impossible for Georgia to fit in. Everyone thinks that Georgia is the replica of her brother, but she is a role perfect student. Georgia must make herself heard, or loose to Rafe and leave the school.

My Brother is a Big, Fat Liar was a fun read. It's full of drama, comedy, and plenty of revelations. The illustrations are beautiful and enrich the reading experience. I am not a huge Middle-Grade fan. The story is interesting, but not mind-blowing. The character's are not developed on a very deep level, and they can easily be classified as fictional characters from any middle school novel. I think readers younger than twelve will like this. The language is very simple and great for you if you are around 7 or 8 years, and want to start reading novels.
