Raina knows that her biggest mistake was asking for a sister. Amara is cute, but moody and never wants to spend time with her big sister. Now that they are older and have a younger brother, they must find a way to make up. especially as they are going to be stuck together in a van for some days. But they are so busy avoiding each other that they don't notice that something's up with their parents. Or do they?
This was a fun and quick read. Very light and perfect for children. The fights and Raina's perspective were very relatable. I absolutely love the way the flashback pages had a different shade to differentiate. I found the story quite short and though it was engaging, it was not as good as I expected. There weren't many plot twists or transformations as I wanted. The illustrations were mind-blowing and helped picturize the whole thing. Humor too was on point. I think the whole point of the book was to show a teen girl with a lifestyle totally relatable to anyone else's. As it's a comic book, it's beginner friendly.
