How to Kiss Your Enemy by Jenny Proctor

5 stars!!

I didn't realize for a while that this book is part of a series and now I can't wait to gobble up the rest. Needless to say, I truly loved it and can't find any faults with this breezy, juicy read. Jenny Proctor is a brilliant author who knows how to make readers swoon.

The chemistry was sizzling from the very first page and I couldn't help but ship the MCs throughout. I mean, how can you not with a scene where Tatum's dog Toby chases a goat in the kitchen (her name is Penelope and she's famous)? Or how about sexy underwear flying everywhere? And my personal favorite- fighting over the delicious Parmesan cheese.

While being a light, easy-to-read book, there is great emphasis on relationships- especially ones with family. So if you're looking for strong and authentic connections, this read is perfect. The brotherly bonds are so damn cozy, and I totally get why Tatum craves some of this in her life.

Plot-wise, I'd say it is a predictable HEA, but I did enjoy the turn of events. Coz when you add an enemies-to-lovers/ academic rivals combo to the mix, the result is an irresistible novel. Proctor knew what she was doing with the amazing flow of the story, making it a single sitting read, or something you can read within a day at least.

Final thoughts- I need a physical copy of this book on my shelf ASAP, and I can't recommend it enough to you. Be sure to buy this for a feel-good weekend read, or maybe gift it to a friend, or even better, a family member.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Jenny Proctor for a complimentary e-ARC in exchange for my honest opinion. I love you so much for writing this Jenny! You're a precious gem<3
