The premise of this book is honestly so captivating with the most interesting characters to accompany the reader on this distorted timeline journey. I was worried that the execution of the plot would go very wrong, but to my surprise, it's done brilliantly.
The story opens on Riley's anniversary, which happens to be valentine's day, and she's deeply in love with her husband Tristan. When she falls asleep that night, she wakes up exactly one year ahead in time, with her Tristan's cousin Milo (who they both hate) driving her car. Turns out, in the span of the year, she divorced Tristan, got together with Milo, and Tristan now has an infant. The only problem is- she doesn't know how any of this happened.
I don't remember the last time I read a book with family dynamics this relatable where you hate these relatives but have to tolerate them. The author handled these scenes with perfection to make me instantly pissed off when those characters were just mentioned. Couldn't recommend this book more, it's so good!!
