I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook. The characters are easy to root for, and I love how they are distinct and very unique from each other in many ways yet work well as a couple.
Something I frequently worry about with second chance romance is half assed excuses for miscommunication, but I think this story properly justifies why they didn't work the first time around. There's so much backstory and baggage that was written out well and cohesively. The Korean culture side adds more depth to the story and brings across some of the foundational upbringing of the MCs. I think the side characters were great too with so much of Val and Kiara shown on page, with a lot of meaningful moments that too.
The second time around, Celeste and Gemma are coworkers working on a project together. I think it's lovely how their learnings while working on the interview series contribute to their characters arcs and who they end up becoming. Narration was on point, and I always love having two narrators on board, though I do wish the story had more of Celeste's POV and her side of things.
