The Second Chance Bus Stop - Ally Zetterberg

This is a deeply thought out and well written book that really makes the reader feel. The author deals with sensitive themes of Alzheimer's and neurodivergence through the characters. I can't be sure since I haven't experienced either for myself, but I believe they were represented authentically with great attention to detail.

This isn't a sweet, fluffy romance, but it does deliver on cozy vibes while still being a powerful thought provoker. The story beautifully uses the concept of crossed paths and just how meaningful that can be. It'll make you laugh, tear up, smile, and imparts so much beautiful wisdom. Pair that up with the fact that we have incredibly well fleshed out characters that are so unique and make for memorable interactions. As a lover of psychology and someone who is intrigued by the wokeness of emotions, I was fascinated by the backstories and some of the "reveals".

Blade and Sophia's pair was very likeable, and I loved every bit of conversation between them, and then their growths over the course of their knowing each other. These characters were voiced wonderfully by the narrators and that made for such an entertaining experience. I look forward to reading more by the author, and will no doubt re-listen to this audiobook very soon.
