Still Into You - Erin Connor

I absolutely loved this book! This book's got the perfect sizzling chemistry, and the second chance romance is just beautiful. This is how all books should make you feel. It is engaging and uplifting in the best ways possible. Both MCs Dax and Sloane have satisfying character arcs over the course of the story. There's incredible growth in their personalities from when they met three years earlier to now. I also thoroughly enjoyed how the past childhood selves were discussed and reconciled with.

The side characters had a great role in the story too, with Dax's bandmates and Sloane's group of friends. I found myself loving and relating with both of their emotions and turmoil despite not having any similar life experiences. I was rooting for these two so bad, couldn't stop reading more and more. It's hard not to absolutely adore them. The book has some spice sprinkled over it, and as a clean romance lover, I didn't actually hate it. It's so moving for the characters to not just have meaningless romantic sessions but for there to be real angst and connection, not just lust. I love that they both are each other's safe space and can actually communicate like adults even while being at odds with each other.

We also need to talk about this gorgeous cover. It's pure art and such a gift to the eyes. I love the detail given to the characters and the composition of the image, it's all brilliant. I need this on my bookshelf, stat. Had so much fun reading it, and not a single regret. Grab this book and add it to your TBR instantly, you'll thank me later. The other reviews seem to agree with me with current ratings at 4.85 on goodreads. I'm sad the book ended, but can't wait for more from this author, and maybe a series in the same world with different people from the same band.
